Unopened bottle of 1953 Seagrams Crown Royal whisky

Postby bdraward » Thu Jun 20, 2002 3:46 am

I have an unopened bottle of 1953 Seagrams Crown Royal whisky with the date seal and the velvet bag as new. I am taking offers on this very rare collectible and am serious about selling.

Can someone tell me the value of this scotch.

I have limited information. I know it is at least 100 years old, bottled in 1940 (bottled in Scotland). Original manufacturer James Martin. The name has now changed to Macdonald Martin Distiller.
