Green Label has been discontinued for a while. I believe since 2011.

Enjoy the bottle and if you can find a few more you should buy them and set them aside as they may be collectable due to it being discontinued.

Word is that it got discontinued because it was just too expensive to make since its blended with something like 27 different whiskys

The Green is still available in the far east but was discontinued in the US in 2012. The only one with any increase in value that I have seen are the original one liter duty free bottles. If you can keep it for 40 years I'm sure it will go up but will never be a gold mine. I think Green is the best bang for the buck in the entire JW line, drink it and enjoy.

I do still have one but selling would leave a hole in my collection. Sorry.

You should try looking at the prices they are achieving in Australia at the moment, I believe around $400+ (220 Pounds)

I was lucky enough to find 5 last year on clearance $48ea :)

Green Label is back for a limited time (so says Diageo according to an email I received):

The old Green Label has a cork top, the new for a "limited time" has a screw top and is slightly taller to not fit in the box. I'm thinking the old bottles are the one that are collector.

Hey everyone...seen some in the USA but up here in Canada I haven't been able to get my hands on a JW Green label. Any idea why?

Also, is there any value in keeping them for resale value? Thanks for helping out!
