Laphroaig Vintage 1974 31 Years Old

Postby MacLover » Wed Nov 02, 2005 9:58 am

For all you Laphroaig lovers, if you aren't already aware there is a new release, I believe exclusive to France, of a Vintage 1974 31 Year Old that is now on sale. Saw it and bought 2 for myself at La Maison du Whisky. A bit expensive, but will probably go fast at only 910 bottles.

it is only for France

You are correct, this is an exclusivity for la Maison du Whisky in France, but the price tag is very high: €380 or £260 and I am not so fond of the sherried Laphoraigs.

Personaly, I would recommend the cadenhead 1842 Islay malt ( A very good 13 YO Laphroaig)

Thanks for the recommendation. I picked mine up for the collection and will most likely sell later. For drinking I will stick with my Laphroaig CS and 2 Feis Ile 17YOs (absolutely fabulous!!).
