Campbeltown Loch is, in fact, bottled by Springbank. You might want to contect them about the date code/age of the bottle you found.

I can assure you I was not a novice in 1994, maybe 1974 :D However, I don't have any memory of trying Campbeltown Loch before 1998 and I know I didn't get my first bottle until about 2000. I'm sure there are more then a few on here who can answer your question but they just haven't stopped in to the board yet.
