HP Saint Magnus Edition Two 12 year old

Postby Big Eck » Thu Aug 26, 2010 12:57 am

Hello All

Just got my hands on the Highland Park 12 year old Edition 2 - Saint Magnus direct from the Distillery. I have not seen it anywhere else in the UK yet.

Been told a lot of bottles and heading to the Far East and US and might be in short supply in the UK, however this run is 11,994 bottles at 55%vol compared to the Earl Magnus at only 5976 bottles.

Showed a bottle today to a whisky shop and he got on the phone to his distributer and they don't have any stocks yet, so get it while you can. Here are a couple of pics for your perusal.

I bought one of these from the HP distillery this week. Its quite good. Seemingly there will not be many of the third one in 2011, the Earl Haakon

My bottle of Saint Magnus arrived from the distillery this morning. I haven’t opened it yet, I don’t know if I will. May be I should get another, then I’ve got one to drink and one to keep, I’ll have to see if Mrs Barleycorn has any money left over from the house keeping on Sunday, I think a bit of sweet talking may be required.

Cheers John

This one should be appearing on my local shelves in the near future, and I'm looking forward to giving it a test-run.
