Birthday Gifts

Postby toshie » Thu May 18, 2006 4:55 pm

It's my birthday tomorrow - smack bang in the middle of the fifties - and my daughter and her fiance have bought me a Scott's Selection Macallan 1985 CS. My order for the Ardbeg Oogling has gone through, my sister sent me a Longmorn 15 and I'm off to Arran on Saturday for a tour of the distillery with Glasgow's Whisky Club. I may treat myself to the Arran 10YO. Is it possible to have more than one birthday a year? :D

Sounds like it :) I'd be interested to hear what you think if the Arran 10yo.

Same here...I've seen the 10YO at a couple of stores, but haven't tried it yet...

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday Toshie! Sounds like you'll have to try ALL your new bottles so you won't offend the people who gave them to you.

Lucky you!!!

Don't forget your half-birthday on 19 November. And your quarter-birthday on 19 August. And your third-birthday on 19 September....

Thanks guys - especially Mr T for a WONDERFUL idea. There's also my Forum birthday to mark the day I joined this august gathering of savants. I'll raise a glass of something to you all this evening.
