What is the most iodine scotch?

Postby Rooks » Sat Jun 11, 2016 6:21 pm

Hello! I generally love Islay whisky, but lately I've figured that it's not really smoke or peat that makes me like this special taste so much, but rather that flavour that seems to be most easily associated with iodine, or should I say sea or seaweed?

So I'm looking for a scotch that would have the strongest iodine flavour of them all, or otherwise strongly associated with sea, seaweed, saltiness. What would you recommend me?

For me Lagavulin 16 year old is full of iodine (tcp and first aid kits). Not sure about ones outside of Islay.
