Every so often I like to make a list of my fav whisk(e)ys. I have had some new ones here recently..thought it would be a good time to update.

Bourbons and Ryes:

1) William Larue Weller 2009
2) Van Winkle Family 12 year "Lot B"
3) George T. Stagg 2009
4) Wild Turkey Rare Breed
5) Ties---Old Weller 7 year/107
Evan Williams Single Barrel 1999 and 2000, Wild Turkey Rye 101

SMS:

1) Talisker 10
2) Ardbeg Uigeadail
3) Springbank 10 (2009 bottling)
4) Laphroaig Quarter Cask
5) Highland Park 18

The Springbank is magnificent.

To me it means those I enjoy having the most. Nice list, Ganga. Many on there I hope to try before I die.

There are a few favorites that I've tried samples of, but I'll stick to those that I've had a bottle of:

1. Laphroaig 30
2. Secret Stills 2.2 1966 40 year (Cragganmore)
3. Lagavulin 16
4. Lagavulin 12 2009 (this satisfies the same cravings that my favorite CIs do)
5. Talisker 18
6. Highland Park 18
7. Caol Ila 10 Unpeated
8. Glenlivet 1977 27 yr. (Scott's Selection)
9. William Larue Weller 2009 bourbon
10. Jefferson's Presidential Select 17 yr. bourbon

I hadn't given much consideration to the rankings, but I like everything you mentioned.
