Has anyone had Talisker 57 North?

Postby talisker10 » Sat Apr 25, 2009 11:28 pm

A friend of mine is going to pick up some Talisker 57 North when he goes through Stockholm..I was just wondering if anyone has had it? How does it compare to the other Taliskers? I know I am going to love it regardless.

Yes, struck me as youthful. But full of vim and vigour, unmistakeably Talisker, and hugely enjoyable. No it doesn't have the finesse of the 18, but it's a worthy addition to their range, and shows a different side. As Lez sez: "A Cask Strength Taliaker - it doesn't get much better."

And the best endoresement is that I've annihilated two 1 litre bottles in a year!

I sure wish they would sell the 57 North in the U.S. in normal stores. I obviously haven't had it yet, but I am really stoked about trying that pepper at Cask Strength.
