Ok I'll be the first to vote here. Bladnoch (because I'd love to try more of it) and Sept 20th. As far as the date, the 13th would also work for me.

Bunny's on the 20th, I've several bottles of both peaty and non-peaties, but i also have a ton of 'Laddies. A Bladnoch win would just force me to buy a bottle or two which really isn't all that bad come to think about it.

Cheers!

I'll get the Irish, you get the 'beg? :D :D

That works for me, I've got plenty of time to stock up. :smoke:
Also I didn't mention, but the 25th is good for me. Since you head up the tastings, I'd say we'd definitely like you to be present.

Ardbeg sounds good to me! And the last weekend in October is fine by me as well.

Might I also suggest Glenmorangie?

Ardbeg sounds nice, but i still got to be different.
Therefore I nominate, Imperial for October!

Another vote for Ardbeg in October over here. I think it's a good idea to keep the choice between distilleries of similar profiles, otherwise it's too hard to choose  so I say keep it on Islay and maybe include Islands. Talisker would get my second vote.

If Imperial is too much of a challenge then I nominate Lagavulin instead. :insane:

I would second Talisker, and add Caol Ila (or was CI done recently?).

Yes, Caol Ila was done pretty recently, and Talisker is on the list of recent tastings too. Under the Live Tasting thread, see 'Past Tastings' for all of the latest.

No St Maggies yet, hopefully at some point we can work it out. Or at least during a Closed Lowland Distilleries Tasting, as Ganga mentioned in the past.

I'm 'beggin' for Ardbeg for October!

Same here, I was hoping to have one bottle in time for the tasting, but it's not looking good.

If I can make it I'll be tasting those 3 plus some new make from our little #200. I also have an order in for SMWS 50.35 so I hope that gets here in time. If it's early enough I'll forward a sample.

Is everyone ready for Bladnoch tomorrow? I'm not sure if I'm going to be around in the afternoon when it kicks up, but I'll definitely be around in the evening (by or before 9pm EST).

I thought the Bladnoch tasting was going to be on the 27th, when I'm out of the country. Very nice I can join tomorrow, I've got 4 samples( some very small).

Ryan, I don't think my Bladnoch will arrive on time in the US. Sorry for that, I should have used priority mail...

Surprise of surprises, I have a Signatory Bladnoch, 1990 (12 yo) owned since Mar 1/05

Maybe I should sample it tomorrow night.
