Just bottles for me, although I'd like to think it will be a 'room' one day! :D :D :D

so far im on two large walking closets, both each the size of my bathroom, floor to celing on three walls all the way round on shelfs spaced just far enough to fit a bottle between, that and i also have about 30-40 boxes full off bottles up the loft, so i recon that would fill another half of these closests.
so im going for 2.5 bathrooms :p

I voted for bottles, but I think the poll should have included another choice: "casks." For the fortunate among us... :D :P

I can see the real estate listing now... "Newly renovated house on a quiet street. Four bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Perfect for entertaining."

I am on one cellar, but when referring to the collection, I specify a number of bottles.

But I do hope you are talking about 'collections' and not inventories for drinking?

So far I am 19 bottles, not bad though since June. I am happy with it so far.

Probably 1 and a bit bathrooms. Do bathrooms come a standard size? Our family bathroom is quite a nice size

Currently my collection includes the following:

25 bottles of Single Malts
10 bottles of Bourbons
12 bottles of Canadian Rye
02 bottles of Irish
10 or so Blended Scotch

and a bunch of other bottles of various gin,vodka,rums... etc.etc...

I won't go dry just yet... :P

So i voted for bottles but i do have a very nice 3' X 6' room with walls covered in stone with rod-iron door entrance. Bottles are on glass shelves...and wife's wines are in a 60 or so rack.

So there... that's mine.

or

or
- money spent

About 50 closed and 10 open and a few casks, two have turned 5yo this month, might be time for a wee sample to see how they are getting on.

In Cupboards! (cabinets really)

Atm about 160-ish full bottles of single malt scotch and 35 opened + 40 other bottles that includes 22 Rums and 8 American Whiskey and Bourbons in 3 cabinets. Oh and 3 Japanese whiskies too!
:o

Cheers!

C_I et al:
I count 'em up and keep an inventory which at present, including 9 SM duplicates, is as follows:

SM: 132 + 9 = 141
Vatted malts: 4
Blends: 12
Irish whiskey: 6
Bourbon: 1
Other whisky:(Includes Canadian) 5
Whisky Liquers: 2
Sma' cask (Whisky works DIY) 1

Of these around 50 are open and readily available for depredation. All but one are subject to sampling but I try to rein myself in a bit.

Bottle inventory for me. I would love to vote for room, but I need a bigger house before I can dedicate a single room just for my whisky.
