Actually, come to think of it, I've only had a Tokaji matured whisky - Edradour Batch #1 - and find it to be very sweet but quite drinkable, even though it's definitely more a winesky (to quote the Malt Maniacs) than a whisky.
I can understand why it may be a taste many would not acquire. The Longrow was an abomination.
If we are talking Hungarian drinks has anyone had Palinka or Unicum?
