By the time you add in a couple of glasses of wine (and the odd cocktail!) I reckon I get through about 15 units a week. How does this compare with everyone else?
I've gone down to limiting a 'dram' to 1cl if I'm tasting a lot in an evening. Otherwise, I pour 2-3cl and usually not have more then 2 drams. Neither my body nor my budget whishes to be stretched to the limit so I'm quite happy with small amounts. And heck, if I really want to enjoy the evening I pour something from Islay which afterwards stays in my mouth and nostrils for another half an hour or so. Lovely finishes always.
