Our Ages. An Update.

Please state your age, or rather just check your correnponding age category box. I think it would be a good idea to pose this question every 6 months or so.

40 in September, a good excuse to open that bottle of Platinum Brora 1970 34yr old. Sometimes age ing has it's benefits.

Despite all evidence to the contrary, I am playing with a full deck, minus the jokers (which would only be redundant). That is to say, 52. I don't believe it, either.

Edit: Wow. I'm the geezer so far.

Thought I had best get in while the going is still good, 55 here, at least for a couple of more months then I'll be moving into the next box. Still it may bolster Mr. T and Musky.

I appear to be in a class by myself at this point. Turned 57 last December.

I meet with a friend that I have know since high school every so often and we have alway tried to drink scotches equal or close to our ages. Last time we got together it was an 18yr old Glenfiddich, an 18 yr old Macallan, and a 21 Glenlivet. :o

Our friendship is gettin expensive.

I stopped counting after 21. I think I'm somewhere in the 26-30 bucket.

Just voted and joined the 15% but I could have gone with the 25% if I'd counted from when I started drinking. So, a whisky age rather than an actual one

Turned 36 at the end of Feb. Next year, I assume, I'll be 37, and so on.

Not a bad age to be.

Have no fear Bamber. I feared 30 and I feared 50.
Guess what, it's all in the mind.

And what's left of mine, has me enjoying life still.
There are things that I can't or won't do now, that I did when I was 30, but I probably shouldn't have done them then.

There is no dress rehersal for this life. Enjoy

Cool...this post just made me Bronze 8)

When I woke up on my 30th birthday, I thought gosh, so this is what it's all about: I realized how smart I was cause I realized I didn't really know much at all! I wonder what kind of awakening I'll have on my 40th??!

Oh, that's the easy one. You'll suddenly realise that you're past being 25 and that you have a sudden urge to buy a motorcycle, a two seater sportscar and get a mistress......

Or else you'll figure out that it's not that you don't really know much at all, but that you don't know a damn thing. It's okay, by 50 you'd have forgotten it, anyway.

I refuse to answer as age is a state of mind, some days I feel 25, others 65...... I think I shall always be a kid at heart though :P
