Given that .....
Whisky Live is £25 , 5 vouchers, water . food.
Whisky Fringe is £15 , no vouchers , water .
SMWS Tasting is £25 , 5 Drams , water , food .
Whisky Festival could be various combinations !
Personally i think the Whisky Fringe offers the best value for money with a SMWS tasting second.
My vote went to Spirit of Speyside simply because the original definition of Whisky Live was for the basic entry (which I think is poor value) rather than the Masterclasses, some of which are excellent value.
But I'm not 100% sure what's included in this price, as this is only my 1st year as a Member, and I've never been to one. So I'll find out when I attend this years event in Boston MA. But if anyone else can offer some more information, that would be great.

That's a great deal indeed! Is it a one day affair? I attended the World of Whiskies in San Francisco in 2006, and I think I spent a little more than that, but that also included a master class. But for good food and all you can taste I'd pay a 100$.
Privately run whisky tastings or other (local) whisky festivals.
I've not been yet to any of the other whisky shows. But I do think its worth while. And value for money.
