I recently re-discovered this flask and would like to put it back into service, but the cap seems to be permantly screwed on. I am guessing it is possible that small amounts of the sugars in the bourbon that is still in the flask found their way to the threads and have turned to sugar glue. I've tried hot water baths to no avail.
Looking for suggestions on how to get this thing open without destroying the finish or damaging the threads.
