Canadian Club Whiskey

I just came across i bottle of Candian Club whisky .In a Canadian Club box .The bottle has a duty label on it and dated 1968 and is still sealed. .Is this whiskey ok to drink or if sold what might it be worth I could send pictures if someone was interested

Certainly would be fine to drink.

Don't know about the price to a collector.

I see so many posts on the Internet about old bottles of CC and Crown Royal that they must be quite common, which leads me to believe they aren't worth so much. I could be wrong, but it seems like everyone has a bottle of CC from the '60s.

Hopefully, the level of the liquor in the bottle still reaches well into the neck. I'd suggest that, even if you hold onto it a little longer, you keep it for drinking or for gifting.

Never been able to hold on to a bottle for longer than a couple of weeks... bottles from the 60's? To me pure sci-fi:D whisky is for drinkin;)

Over here, CC is as common as tap water. (Of course being Canadian that only stands to reason!)
I generally enjoy it on ice with a bit of water or with a bit of Sprite or Canada Dry Ginger Ale. I'd recommend you open it and enjoy it however you choose.

Regular members may notice that I'm not as particular about how I take my rye as I am about my Single Malt dramming.
