I still contend that the "run" on this bottling was orchestrated to make it appear underpriced with a view to making a fast buck.
The Longrows distilled before the 1990s are highly collectible and fetching high prices. It was excellent stuff and difficult to find. The Longrow 18 YO is in the same league as those old ones and the 18 YO has been sold out in UK within hours. Springbank does not make a simultaneous worldwide distribution, so the UK allocation is already sold out, but many other Europeans countries have not yet been delivered (or the retailers).
