Ganga?

Postby whiskgeek » Sun Mar 05, 2017 12:28 am

I just noticed that Ganga is gone. By that I mean, all of his posts. What's up with that?

He was cheesed off with the spam problem - maybe we should tell him it's all shiny now?

Hmm. Too bad. He was the most reliable one here.

I take it that when you delete your account, you're allowed to delete all your posts and comments? That's unfortunate. He and many others have given a lot of good info to the forum.

Indeed - I had to start from scratch, sigh.

I think you will find that it was site admin who deleted his account as far as I understand it.
I was of the understanding that they kicked him off, I could be wrong.
Can site admin confirm if my assumption is correct or not.
I remember when I was repeatedly reporting issues with spam that Ganga was always trying to keep things going so I am very surprised if he went voluntarily.
Equally do people really believe that Ganga actually took the time and trouble to delete every single post he put on in the last 10+ years.
It looks more to me like a removal, Ganga is honest to the core, perhaps admin could not handle a few of his comments.
Perhaps admin can enlighten us on that one because when I was last on here Ganga was the only person who was trying to remain positive and keep threads alive.
If he went of his own volition then trust me he had a good reason.
Just a simple mans thoughts.
