Looking for suggestions to "move up"

Postby returnofthem » Sun Sep 20, 2015 9:29 pm

Hi guys,

I've been getting into my whisky for a couple of years now, and have managed to figure out that I tend to prefer Speyside flavours. I've never had much money to spend on bottles so have tended to restrict myself to 10 year-old whiskys from that area, mostly Glenmorangie and Aberlour.

I've now put a bit aisde (mostly loose change over a year or so!) and have around £60, maybe a bit more, to spend on... something. The problem is, I'm having real trouble figuring out what!

Would you suggest simply going for an older Aberlour/Glenmorangie, or is there something else I should be looking for?
