But I would like suggestions for names for the child, To wind my wife up I am trying to think of as many whisky related names, (we do not know the sex of the child),
So far I have Glen, (craig, keith, grant),
Henry (McKenna), Magdalene (St Magdalene).
Benriach, Benrinnes, or Benromach ("Ben").
Blair Athol ("Blair" or...no, don't go there).
Tamdhu or Tamnavulin ("Tammy").
Tomatin or Tomintoul ("Tom").
I'm just a bachelor, and you can take what I say with a grain of salt, but winding up your wife doesn't seem like a good idea to me, especially when she's pregnant.
"And the sailor said 'Whisky, you're a fine girl....'" Nope, doesn't work.
After moving through some Speysiders, we turned our attention to Islay and picked up an Ardbeg 10.
You can imagine the laughter that erupted when I asked, "Who can smell peat?"
Therefore I think the best bet is to name the poor child Ardbeg, and hope they have the same generous 'spirit.' If you pardon the pun.
