I had a "Get £3 off a £30 shop" voucher for Sainsburys that ended today so I utilised it and got a Lagavulin 16 for just over £28!

As part of the Sainsbury's promotion the Glenfiddich 14 Rich Oak is now down from what I think is an extortionate £40.35 to a more reasonable £32.28. I say extortionate as Glennfidich themselves put the rrp at around £30 and currently Royal Mile Whiskies are selling it at a standard price of £31.95.

Apart from that bit of whisky racketeering by Sainsbury's some of the prices with this 20% promo are very tempting. Infact I shall be down there this afternoon stocking up on the essentials, such as the Lagavulin 16, Talisker 10 and maybe a Balvenie for good measure.

Took a detour home from work to a big Sainsburys and came out with an Ardbeg 10, Lagavullin 16, Glenfiddich 15 and Glenfiddich 18 for a total of £108 which I thought was pretty good for four top class malts

The Sainsburys deals are excellent. I managed to get the last bottle of Lagavulin off the shelves of my local, and couldn't resist a Glenfiddich 18 for just over £25. Exceptional value.

Don't know if anyone of the forum lives in Austria, but if anyone does, would you be so kind to tell me if there's any retail store where I can find whisky that is not so expensive?? It's awfully expensive here in Austria the whisky.
You can also PM me.

Thanks a lot in advance.

The Co-op has Jura 10 and Glenlivet 12 at a third off. So £17.99 and £19.32 respectively. And if you've got some of their £2.00 off coupons it makes it even better.

If anyone likes JD bourbon I noticed an interesting deal in Sainsburys.

A 20cl bottle was knocked down to £3.00

The 70cl bottle was £20.50

Simple maths - huge bargain.
