Shame, 'cos its not cheap for a young one. I think its fantastic.

Just finished a Corryvreckan.

How does the Corryvreckan and the Supernova 2010 compare H2H? Have your tried the latest 2010 batches of the Uigeadail?

I haven't opened my bottles of Supernova yet, but the Uigeadail was fantastic, though just a notch lower than the Corryvreckan. With the prices I've seen of SMS in Massachusetts this summer, the Uigeadail is fast approaching best 'bang-for-the-buck' category.

First a Gimlet and now my second Gin & Tonic with Tanqueray. The perfect choice for a warm summer's eve. Thankfully, it's getting a bit more chilly now so it's soon time for a whisky.

Currently sipping a recently purchased bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask. I am impressed. Dare I say I prefer this NAS to the 10yr old bottlings? Opps I said it.

I'm of like mind, NSF, though it is a rather close call for me. Each has its positive aspects. For me, the 10YO brings one a little closer to the smoke, while the QC offers up more oak-derived deliciousness.

Well... I'm going the Ardbeg Uigeadail route at this moment in time.

Not such a huge statement on this occassion NSF. I'd venture to say many of us here do.

At the moment just a Jack and Coke but all this talk of Laphroaig is making me want to have a dram from now newly opened Hart Brothers 10YO CS bottling. If the nose is anything to go buy things look very promising.

I say go for it, pour yourself a big dram and enjoy.

Consider it gone for. This is an excellent Laph. Not as medicinal as might be expected but a wonderful controlled sweetness attached to the peat smoke and diesel. Perfectly drinkable neat at 53% and very moreish. I'll be having a couple of drams of this one this one this afternoon.

Found it right were I left it, Yes red stripe. We don't get the CS here in Canada this bottle is from the USA.

In Alberta we only get the Qc, Just got a LTD number of 10 yo which is sold out every where last sold 2004. And the 18yo which has been sold out for a while and have not seen any since. And a hand full of ind bottlers.

I as well am a Laga fan over the rest, Ardbeg 10 went from $50 to $74.
For a while Laga 16 was selling for $116 back down to $85 and Laph QC is $55 and can pick it up for $42 on the way home which is a steal.

SO bang for the buck QC is the winner but keep the rest on the shelf.

Scapa 12 - broke the cork recently, replacement is a good fit but not as tight so this bottle is marked for death.

Black Bush. Very nice but the mini I had of BB last year was much better than this bottle.
