Today at a client lunch, I went to a restaurant which did not have ANY single malts! I had to settle for a Johnny Walker Green Label, which was actually rather smooth.
I chastised the owner, who asked me what he should get to address the dearth of single malt. He has agreed to have an Argbeg Ui on the shelf in future, just for me!!

Settled down with a dram of Lagavulin 16yo instead. Much more acceptable.
Maybe some of the Laga 16 poured into the Monkey would have helped it go down.
