I was wandering through the aisle of the Total Wine store and saw these on the end of the shelf. Too neat to pass up. They are soapstones that you freeze while dry and put them in the glass and they chill the nectar! No off tastes, it does not dilute the drink, does not scratch the glass. I thought it was kinda cool. I tried it with a couple ounces of Laphroaig tonight. Neat item.
After extensive testing last night I found them to stay put in the bottom of the glass! They say to use 3. If I had put more in stacked up they would have rolled out for sure. Used as directed I was able to get all but the last few drops out of the drink.
