"Single Malt Scotch Whisky" means a Scotch Whisky that has been distilled in one or more
(a) at a single distillery;
(b) from water and malted barley without the addition of any other cereals; and
(c) in pot stills;
Loch Lomond were, afaik, distilling malt whisky in a Coffey (Continous) Still
The question, is, does the Hoilstein Still qualify as a pot still ?
No distillery is Scotland uses Holstein stills, but a lot of micro distilleries in continental Europe and USA does
What kind of Stills do they have at Penderyn, looks a bit like A Holstein stills to me ?
