What's your latest bottle kill?
Re: What's your latest bottle kill?
Decanted six Port Ellens and 2 Octomores into 4oz (or less) sample bottles tonight. Just to preserve the whisky for longer. Sad day.

Springbank 10, gone.
Re: What's your latest bottle kill?
I just killed my Signatory Caperdonich. Honestly not sad to see this bottle go. This may be sacralidge but I understand why this distillery is no more.

Powers John's Lane release 12yr pot still. Sumptious.

BenRiach 12 Year Old Matured in Sherry Wood... A very, very good malt - especially at its price point.

Glenmo' Astar. I just opened another as there are a few in the stash, and i do love this whisky.

My Edradour Cask Strength (older style in glass decanter with burgundy coloured tube) finally succumbed to the celebrations of Robbie Burns' birthday this January.

Benromach Organic. Very tasty to finish. For those that get a bottle of this and do not like it, leave it open for an extended period.

Jack Daniel's 1904 Gold Medal... If memory serves me well, this represented the first special edition release in the JD portfolio. Definitely a cut above many other JD itinerations, and exhibiting an uncommon degree of complexity and balance.
Re: What's your latest bottle kill?
Emptied OP Navigator and Bowmore Small Batch Reserve last night, but they were both nearly empty when gifted to me (read: left behind).
