Home Blend

Postby Kernow » Fri Dec 25, 2009 12:46 am

I read on here sometime ago about a member who always collects the last dram and bottles it.

I thought this a idea worth trying and have currently quarter of a bottle of my 'blend'.

My 'blend' is mainly a good selection of Islay's but with others also put in. I actually wondering how many individuals im going to pick out? if any?.

Anyone else have a 'blend' going? or am i just wasting a shot?

Yes i understand what you are saying , im just trying one bottle as an experiment, im only using one shot from a bottle so you never know.

If it does turn out nasty will save it for friends who ask for lemonade

"home blending" pretty sure I do something very similar every night, only difference is the vatting is done in my stomach.

I hope you don't sample it when it comes out of your "vat"...

Mixed some Glenfarclas 105 with a one third measure of Brookladdie Peat tonight. Good!

When I have tasted enough of my samples, I vat (blend) the left over from my vials (and not from my glass !) inside a bottle according to one of the following category: Lowlands, Japan, Grain, Campbeltown, Island, Speayside, Islay and Highlands.
