Before the CV I opened the Glenlivet French Oak. I like it a lot.
Very fruity on the nose - Sultanas? with a hint of Lemon? Somewhat sherry like but also a tinge of woody oakiness.
Quite a hard hit at first on the palate opening up to an explosion of fruit and oak with a thick strain of peat which dries very quickly but leaves a long deep finish where there is still a hint of lemons among the dry oak and peat.

The post before this one was a bit more detailed I think, and I was probably a bit awash with enthusiasm (or whisky) when I made the second post!!!!!
