Does anyone have an opinion on Batch 25?
I have and I thought it was ok - even good - which is surprising given that I haven't really enjoyed any A'bunadhs before. I wrote this some time ago:

Batch 25 was far superior to both 12 and 17 - both of which seemed to be trying to hard being sherry monsters. I'm not a fan of this style of whisky though but batch 25 was alright - although Macallan CS is clearly a better whisky in my opinion.
I think SM made a mistake with the Alc % because batch 20 was 60.5%

I meant to say that I understand the 'but' that you applied to batch 15. It is quite sulphury. Batch 25 is not.
Yes, 15 is pleasant! "Sulphury" in th way Daluaine 16 is...not bad, just an "interesting roughness" round the edges...
20 was a rounder, smoother ride as i recall, and a bigger finish.
Thanks for the feedback on the 25 Willie.
one of the better CS sherry bombs i tried was a "Macphunn" courtesy of C57.
ever come across it? Marvellous! Subtler than the Abunadhs and 105s and Mac CS...
