Personally, I'm off to The Vaults to check out the new list in particularly 54.26 and 29.67
My one gripe about SMWS is that the bottlings can disappear quickly particularly the "best buys", however the outturn for this one looks to be okay (764 bottles).
Let me know what you think of the Aberlour.

You inspired me to call in on the way home. I'm now the proud owner of a bottle of each. The Aberlour is hugely sulphury sherry with rich burnt toffee, cherry, orange, slight mint. Wonderful. The Laphroaig is interesting - not sure I've ever had sherried Laphroaig before. It is not really medicinal, but warm and ashy with a long finish of earthy ashtray notes. The sherry is present on the palate and adds a bit of a third dimension - some rich coffee notes, a hint of fruit - but takes a back seat as the smoke comes through.
