Mine arrived on Saturday 4th March, I remember because it was sitting at home waiting for me when I got home from Whisky Live. It would have been better to have got it before the event because the 'Icons of Whisky' results were announced in it.

In general I was talking about postal copies as they always seem to hit the shops first. However there does seem to be a hit and miss scenario with delivery to the same country maybe it is done by membership number or something. ????

Paul, the only problem with that is that WM doesn't announce the winners until the night before Whisky Live London. The nominees know they've been short-listed, but publishing the results before Whisky Live would ruin the surprise.

I think it is a question of whether it is your copy that's being passed around the post office.

#54 arrived in Springfield today, and none too soon--I was considering taking possession of a bovine. D'oh!

They certainly used to, I remember a couple of years ago congratulating Richard Joynson at Whisky Live for achieving Retail Outlet of the Year, if the results had not been published before the show I would not have know that he had won.

It looks like they've changed...when I talked with Ken Storrie of the Pot Still...he didn't know until the actual ceremony that he'd won the Whisky Bar of the Year award...

Perhaps it's there way of getting ALL the nominees to attend the ceremony - not just the winners!

Issue arrived ... finally

irishwhiskeychaser:
Issue arrived today at 1:00 pm, 11 days after Mr. Tattieheid got his. (Guess mine was being passed around the mailroom too, wonder how they resealed it so well?) Now to savour it over a dram... Musky P.

Went to my local and picked up a copy, seems like a good issue. Checked out the price on a LoTI and a Glenrothes 30, i'll be having nightmares for a week.
