I don't mind the Innis and Gunn at first, but one bottle is enough at a time. I think part of the problem with it is the barrels they use - I didn't like the whisky (a Wm. Grant blend) that they had been used for previously. I was told by a local rep, who was pouring 'the sequence', that Grants Ale...

Well, I stayed in Itay once during the wild boar hunting season. I couldn't take my t-shirt off for fear of being shot by mistake... That's pretty good...I usually only worry during wild BORE hunting season! Mark I my mind it's better to be a boar than a bore... Are you a little bore? :lol: Sorry, ...

Opened up a bottle of the Singleton of Glendullan. First impressions...very smooth and easy to drink. Will come up with more tasting notes later...

By the way...more interviews from Whisky Live New York are now up in this week's episode, with Gerry Tosh from Highland Park, Ronnie Cox from The Glenrothes, and Evan Cattanach from the Classic Malts...as well as a really unusual rye whisky from Iowa...Templeton Rye!

Just confirmed it with my Chivas contact...the plans are to replace the 10 and 15YO Aberlours with 12 and 16-year-old versions in new packaging. They're going to the shorter, squatter A'bunadh style bottle. The 10 will be kept in a few markets, notably France...where it's a market leader...
