What's the deal with this? It's just like the 15-year Single Barrel, but instead of one barrel, it comes from two. And they're charging ten times as much? At whiskyauction.com 3 bottles Huntly were sold between 11 and 17 EUR in the last 5 years...

Okay, this were "normal" bottles (0,75l) and other labels... But this is only a blend without age statement... :o

I was wrong with 1992. :wink:
It was first bottled in 1993 (100. anniversary of Balvenie distillery) and in 1994 the packaging was changed... 8)

I've got a bottle of Balvenie Founder's Reserve today, which is in an other design than usual...

AFAIK the FR was sold for a few months in 1992 in this design... :?

Is it correct? Or do you have any further information on this bottle?

I think it's not worth to collect except you're collecting Balvenie... :wink: What kind of bottle is it? Is it the old Founder's Reserve in the cognac style bottle or the "new" one (since 1993)? The new FR cost about 30 EUR a few years ago. Today you'll get one on Ebay for about 40 EUR... ...

There is a regional release this May, a 40 yo for £2500 that I don't have any further info on. It will be listed under the regional releases since it is only for Singapore and not a "Vintage Cask" per se. I don't know of a 1963, do you have any info on one? No, I don't have any info. :? B...

What is the story behind these? Are they sample 15YOs, drawn from casks in storage, etc.? Sounds very interesting!
