Well, I'm going to come back and try Lasanta later in the week so it's too early to make a call on my favourite. I have honestly enjoyed all 3. At the moment it is a tie between Nectar D'Or and Quinta Ruban, but I wouldn't turn down a glass of the Original.

I would recommend HP21. I did a tasting of the range when at the distillery (12, 16, 18, 21, 25 and 30). The 21 was the best in my opinion. I then tried the Ambassadors Cask no 3 and bought one of the few remaining bottles of that :D

I also meant to say that Morrisons are selling a 70cl bottle of the Glenmorangie Original (10 yo) for £16.99 - expires this weekend though. Oh and Talisker 10yo is down to £23.99. Hope that's enough temptation.

That's not a bad idea, Ganga. I wouldn't recommend sending samples out for the latter distilleries as it could be hilarious/frustrating trying to find them come the end of the year. Perhaps two or three months in advance would suffice. For the Glenmorangie tasting, if you're interested Oddbins are s...

Re: Mr Fjeld and Musky's post Christmas dram tasting

The 2 is the distillery number (i.e. the second distillery from which the Society bought a cask) and 35 is the cask number the Society has bought from that distillery.

I may be wrong but I think 2 refers to Glenlivet, and 35 is the 35th cask the Society bought from the Glenlivet distillery.
