Re: New to Whisky - From Argentina

Hello Ignacio welcome by the club,Glenlivet and Glenfiddich are good whiskies to start with also, even it has a higher price, the Glenmorangie.Take your time there are plenty of distilleries to pick from, enough to explore.Slainthe!

The most(up to 50%) neat,so now and than add just a drop of water to open it up a little, whiskies with more alcohol first sip neat than reduced the level if necessary but never ice.But feel free do do it your way.

The standard measure in the Netherlands is 35ml,70ml for a double, but there are some exceptions 30ml/60ml i`ve seen too mostly in the eastern parts of the country.

Re: Spotting a fake J W Black Label Whisky....

Most imitation Walkers are made in India for consumption there, the bottle you have is therefor outside India something of a unicum, indeed for collectors here it is special,no one in Europe or America would make a fake JW simply because it is a cheap whisky,in India the importtax can be almost 200% ,...

Armorik single malt whisky

French whisky from the region of Brittanny, age unspecified.
Color: amber with pale gold
smell:like dark chocolate,velvety,lightly spiced,good balance.
taste:spicey, herbal some tangerine and a light maltiness, balanced but not that complexed.
Not a big whisky but not unpleasant either.
