only use a decanter that has a really good snug fitting stopper otherwise air will get to it very quickly and you will end up throwing it out.

Since June 2010 when I last put a response on here, I can absolutely say with some conviction Inchgower and Teaninich can produce some great drams, especially some of the IB euro bottlers.

I agree with whiskygeek about buying stuff you like, just ignore any links to so called experts who tell you what to invest in, they are the reason why mere mortals cannot afford anything anymore. Investors in whisky have killed the market in the last 3-4 years, you are wasting your time trying to c...

Re: What is your most recent (whisky) purchase.

So I went to Costco tonight to pick up some stuff. Picked up a bottle of Speyburn Bradan Orach. Thought it was $20 for a 1.75. Got to the counter and it was $13. I went back and made it a 6 pk. Going to get a small cask and do some aging. 8) Have I read that correct 13 dollars for 1.75 litres?? If ...

Re: best whisky auction site in united kingdom

I have used all the various auctions over the past few years and I have to say as far as speed of shipping, variety of bottles on offer each month and functionality of the site https://www.whisky-onlineauctions.com is by far the best. I pay a little more for the shipping but the quality of the pack...
