I was lucky enough to find a heap of GMCC Banff which are distilled in the year and month I was born. So now i have a fairly substantial supply of birthday malt just for me and will always be the same age as me.

Hart Bros Mortlach 12 (Sherry)
OMC Lochnager 14 (Sherry)
Ardbeg 10, an L6 bottling

Candied orange, honey, salt and peat.

I love it.

750ml Laphroaig 10 @ 43%.
750ml Laphroaig 15.

Lucky to find these as most Australian Laphroaig 10's are 40% and 700ml bottles and the 15 is hard to come by.

Hart Bros Rosebank 15. Just beautiful. Strikingly similar to the DL Prov bottling of the same age and year.

Where did you find the Longmorn 15 Troy? Burwood Cellars, caked with dust. I purchased one from there last year and when I dropped in a few weeks ago they had another sitting there. 2 Glenfarlas 1974 for $100 Aus each
2 PC5 for $120 Aus all up
1976-2006 GM CC Banff for $90 Aus
1993 OMC Ardbeg for $60 Aus.

and a stock pile of 1974 Hirsch 16 year old at $80 Aus a bottle.

Ordered 3 bottles and have been slugged about $135 duty. Looks like Laph sent them in one package which almost guarantees getting stung. Duty should be around $30 a bottle if the rates having changed. I paid that value of duty on the first Cairdeas and it is pretty close in price and ABV to the Cairdeas 12.
