Canadian club sherry cask is quite sweet. But a nicer one is the Balvenie Rum Cask

I rarely if ever smoke when drinking whisky. But there was one time I had a nice Balvenie doublewood and Glenlivet 15. I was smoking an Acid Blondie. Very mellow cigar which went well and complimented the whisky's

Dinner? Steak

After? Chocolate. I prefer smooth milk chocolate as (I feel) it enhances the mellow flavors of the whisky. Some like bitter dark chocolate as sometimes it will make the whisky taste sweeter. To me dark chocolate makes the whisky taste bitter/muddier.
