I actually did not bought anything for a collection, I have two bottles as gifts. May be I should buy something cheap and let it age.

Re: Need help to date my bottle of Old Parr

I actually think it is from the 60's, not 100 % sure. You can say if it is drinkable only after you try it.

Re: Where can I sell this bottle?

Ebay will be a good place to start. Make an auction and let people bid for it. Hope you sell it soon.

Re: Islay malt from an unnamed distillery?

Have to agree with bredman, nobody sells their whiskey for nothing. The excess whiskey is sold to blenders and bottlers , for a lower price but in large quantities

Re: Islay Storm

Looks like a good everyday whisky to me. I usually stay away from cheap whiskys, but looks that there is exception to every rule.

Re: What are you eating while drinking whisky?

Roasted almonds or hazelnuts. Sometimes I light a cigar with my whisky, and sometimes I just enjoy it with ice.

Re: Cigar/Scotch Pairing

I think that a classic, medium flavored, not strong cigar would be a good match for every glass of whiskey. Not something expensive, may be Cohiba or Padron.
