yesterday I had Talisker 30 yo and Glenlivet 21 yo (Archives)
They were both very nice.

Came home from sweden yesterday and with me came Clynelish 14 yo,Glenfarclas 12 yo and Gordonmacphails Speymalt macallan.
Some beer wandered along too: Guinness extra stout and Grolch

Yesterday we went to medieval festvial that`s been going on this weekend
and it was so hot outside :insane:
When we got home we barbecued and I had Marstons old empire india pale ale :)
It suited the food real nice.
I thought about having a wee dram but I was to tired. :sleep:

Drammeister You want to be careful who you say that to. Why should I be careful who I say that to This is my opinion and it shouldn`t bother anyone. My husband and his brother were out on town and brought back a friend with them so we tasted George.t. stagg early in the morning
It was very sweet and something totally different from singel malt whisky
I kind of associated it with rum ?!

I was wondering if you knew what whiskies they have at the tax free shop at prestwick(Glasgow) ?
My husband is going this weekend.
And as he isn`t bringing any lugage with him the tax free shop is the only option. :(
Hopefully you can help me and maybe they have a nice collection :)

Both whiskies are Round and easily enjoyable ,Glen garioch has a bit peat lurking about.

We had a whisky meeting in our whiskyclubb yesterday and I had strathmill 12 yo and talisker 18 yo . :)
I had to leave early the others tasted more different whiskies :cry:

I think that getting hold of Ardbeg 1977 and comittee bottlings can be difficult compared to getting hold of Loti but then again it`s great fun chasing down rare whiskies. :)

Tonight I`ve had Dallas dhu 32 yo omc,Blair athol 12yo and Ben Romach 18 yo ( the old bottling before the new owners)
They were all very good :thumbsup:
I had forgotten that Dallas dhu was a bit peaty and that Ben romach actually was so smooth and delightful. :)

I have to say there are a very few whiskies I won`t buy again Glenlivet Rn Mac Donald 31 yo is one Tormore 12 yo ( a huge problem here since I just NEED something from every scottish singel malt distillery and I haven`t seen anything else but the awful tormore 12 yo) Laphroaig should be on my list b...

titus I'd recommend Dalwhinnie 15. Sweet, smooth, syrupy purely because women are more of the sweet tooth type. Are they not? Glen garioch as Ganga mentioned is so smooth highly enjoyable it has peat sneaking up on you very pleasant So different from many islay whiskies as I am not the biggest fan of Laphroaig , Ardbeg and so on
So get Glen Garioch if you can :)
