Re: Nikka Taketsuru 12 Pure Malt

I would say that it is a worthy investment, but If anyone thinks I am wrong please feel free to chime in. The first reason I say this is because you cannot really go wrong with some Nikka Taketsuru, an old friend of mine had me try it once and I was not disappointed. Also for some 12 year old pure ...

Re: Anyone know about this Suntory Whisky?

Suntory produced numerous ceramic bottles to commemorate events and anniversaries
As a blended whisky it is not very valuable but nevertheless the ceramic decanters are nice editions to a clollection
Here is a list of just a few https://www.whiskybase.com/brand/82689/suntory

Re: Can anyone value this whiskey for me please?

Looks like it was bottled in the 70s Not a particular collectable whisky as it is a blended whisky
I presume it is a large bottle, to be hung as an optic in a pub which would make it less collectable.
You might get £30 if you are lucky.

Re: Newcomer: found bottle in Japan

It would be the same whisky. The 75cl would be the export version. The 70cl would be the normal release. I would say it would make approximately £300-£350 if sold.

Is this the new Yamazaki.

One to keep an eye on.
It is expensive for a young expression, but appears to be an upcoming whisky in Japan

We all know what is happening to Hanyu and Karuizawa whiskys.
