Here is some more info on the new Glengoyne 12yo answering my question on whether it is a watered down version of the Glengoyne 12 year old Cask Strength.

Dont know what the set up in your local asda will be but i should have mentioned i found the Laphroaig 10 year old Original Cask Strength at the end of an aisle on display with different spirits and liqueurs which were on offer, there wasnt any on the shelf alongside the other malts in the drinks ai...

My local Asda has Laphroaig 10 year old Original Cask Strength for £23.23 i picked myself up 2 bottles of it today as you dont see this at that price very often.

Just had a look on the Sainsbury's site and they have £3 off all of their own brand malts! Never tried their own brand, but will probably try out there Islay offering while this deals on, any of the others recommended? or clues on the actual distillery... I noticed that Sainsburys 10 year old Islay...

So, I would agree 'farclas 15 and add some Laddies. Glenrothes would be nice to see and my branch doesn't have HP18 :( or Springbank :cry: . I would always use the cheap stuff or the bad stuff such as that bottle of Ledaig which i stupidly purchased and couldnt even force myself to drink. But i was able to consume it in a hot toddy when i had a bad cold.

i got one of these about 2 months ago at this price fro0m a local coop - bargain ash . The Coop seem to rotate there malt of the month. I picked up a bottle of Aberlour 10 year old yesterday at the Co Op for only £14.69.

They have it on as there Malt of the Month, so i am not too sure if the offer is coming to an end in the next couple of days.
