My palate simply loves the peaty/smoky and peppery whiskys. Yes i have in my collection 'fiddich, 'livets, morangies, 'farclas etc and would simply class these as sweeter whiskies, but by far i simply love the smoky. i feel a sense of heaven, when invested in a deep dram. Laph 18 YO. knocked my socks off. toned down on the medicinal taste of the QC and i like it - no i love it.

for me its currently between the Laga 16 and Laph 18 though I do like the difference of HP 18 & 12 as well as the GF 15 YO distillery edition.

Cask Strength has to be the abv is leaves the cask at. So Talisker 57 north is 57% abv, but it's still not a "Cask Strength" whisky....nearly, but not quite

Hi, Sorry for the dumb question but how in the world do I select whiskies from the database into my profile. I go : to my profile, select my whiskies, it takes me to a page where I can search I do the search and it brings up a list THEN WHAT? There's a shopping cart and sometimes a gold/silver award...

HP 18 ( ... and a Hog 3 Bourbon just to explore). Want to get a Glenlivet 18, not sure though.
