Old Whisky Magazine's for sale

Hey Guys, Hope this is OK to post here, could not find a more suitable forum. Doing a (almost spring :)) cleanup here and I have old issues of Whisky Magazine for sale. I prefer to sell it as a whole in one go. Sent me a PM if you're interested with any offer you like to make. The issues I have avai...

Exactly... Andries is far from the person who would make such generalizations. Not everyone divides the world up in either with us or against us :P (note the smiley, please :))

Re: Really, really bad experience with Cadenheads shop/Amsterdam

Might be my error and it actually be NL regulation, still the effect is the same if you're situated in the Netherlands ;)

Re: Really, really bad experience with Cadenheads shop/Amsterdam

Not posting a lot anymore these days on this forum, but as this is one of my fav shops/people I just want to share my opinion. Before I do so I have to add that I did do some website design etc. for Andries. Just for clarity. Over the years I've got to know Andries as a very friendly, amicable and k...

Euh, I haven't been there in a while so that might actually be the case... Been a while out of the loop since the birth of our son. Maybe someone on the forum can tell for sure.

And the stills are gone, as well as the people, so you'll only resurrect a name, but will never get the spirit (both figuratively and for real).

God that hotel was still as it has been all those years?

That was for sure a sorry sight when you approached Islay over Port Ellen by sea.

In all the years we've been to Scotland we only had rain three times... Once a few showers in Bowmore, one shower when walking to Macallan, and a morning on Papa Westray. I really dunno what all those people are complaining about when it comes to Scotland and its weather ;)

See if you can get a hold of that copy of the recent Coast episode then Wendy. Might be on the BBC website as a stream? Obviously not the entire original broadcast, but it had some old footage of it. In my meory it was in the end of the episode.

The Old Man of Hoy is truly dramatic and beatiful. When taking the ferry from John o' Groats to Stromness you pass by Hoy, and the Old Man of Hoy.

I've made a photo which I included in my "other Scotland" wallpaper page.

There is not just the Macallan bottles, there have been more issues where they have been MADE aware, but apparently did not made them change/remove auctions or so.

I thought this was all pretty much common knowledge by now :x

I'm not a collector, but... isn't this the auction house with all the dubious sales? And are those prices/bottles listed in this book as well? See this forums' Macallan discussions and for example a thread or two on the Maltmaniacs site.

The idea of the feature is to quickly see what topics have new posts IMO. When I need to click through 15 or even more pages I could simply click all the forums open as well IMO.

I had no idea this thread would get this many posts.

"new posts since last visit page"

Argh what MOD did you install Matt... Each time I visit the forum I have to wade through 14 pages to see what new posts have been made, instead of 1 or so where I cna quickly glimpse what topics have new posts (not that they're always ontopic posts, but it helps!). It made the forum sort of useless ...

It's nice to have a bazillion bottles, but I should think that any pub owner would have to consider turnover and spoilage. I've been in the Craig a few times, and of course it's always in October, but it has always been pretty quiet when I've been there; the place is not, as you might think, hoppin...

Theer are ways to date the glass (by looking at size and production method and the compounds, but probably even more) and the paper used for the labels as well. but then it can still be a fake whisky where they used old paper and an old bottle, so you'll need to get the whisky checked out as well. I...
