So from time to time attendees at the tastings are given a feedback from, peole are given the chance to score the dram on a scale of 0 to 9, votes are shown as a percentage - 100% would result in everyone giving the whisky the highest possible mark and 0% would be when no one gave the dram any marks...

So for the World Whisky tasting 7 drams. Kavalan Bourbon oak as well as Fino Solist, Box : Dalvve and American oak, Taketsuru 17yo pure malt, Miyagikyo and Yoichi. Nae bad.

Revisted the Highland Park over the weekend and standing alone it does have some subtle qualities, a touch of sweetness and an all round poise which might have been lost on the night. More Simon and Garfunkel than Slade.

Bob Dylan now has Heaven's Door spirits and a new Smokehead called High Voltage is out, this tasting is getting closer. Hammerfall's whisky isn't from The Imperisl distillery :(
