Here's something to try, get a number of different glasses, pour a sample of the same whisky into each one, then try them out. Surprisingly we tried this at a tasting and the Glencairn beat out all the others, including the snifter, (sorry Ganga, my friend but it was Whisky Science!)

I drank this in copious amounts before going off to University and discovering Single Malts, I don't know the value, but if it's still sealed it won't hurt you to leave it as such. You'll probably not find another.

I've looked around and it's a pretty much extinct bottle.
