Re: Whisky Live London 2012

Safely back home from, for me, the best Whisky Live for a long time. I actually like the new venue and think it works really well with the main hall and all the other rooms available. The mood on Friday night was very different to the Saturdays that I'm used to, far more relaxed and easy going, the ...

Re: Whisky Live London 2011

I'll go along with what has already been said, it took too long to get into the show and it should have been stated that the show was going to effectively end at 4.30. I must have lost 50 minutes out of an already shortened day. Having said that, I greatly enjoyed my day, meeting up with old friends...

We met up with an Old Stalwart of the show Paul Jellis and all in all about 20 of our friends from Bedford Welwyn , Hatfield, Harlow, St Albans , Swindon & Hemel Hempstead. Thank you Les, I've been called a lot of things, but, Old Stalwart makes me sound like a cheap blended whisky. It was good...

Re: Whisky Live London 2010 (26-27 Feb)

I had a great day on Saturday, I had concerns that the morning tickets would make it as busy before lunch as it is after, but it wasn't so. After finding my way there last year, I found the venue with no trouble this year, I actually arrived at Putney Bridge an hour and half early, so had time for t...

How was Davinia and what were the drams ?

The drams were:
New make spirit
10 Year old
Uigeadail
Supernova
Blasda, and
a cask strength that was filled during the festival week (I forget the year).

Davina was a delight!
