Re: Haig dimple

Smada, maybe post a picture of it?

I only know the Dimple 15yo (with gold wire and great bottle) and paid about EUR 18,- for it in Germany. I think this is a great deluxe blended whisky in releation to the price! :D

Re: Ledaig no age statement

Yesterday, I tasted the Ledaig 8yo of Kintra Single Cask (50%), heavily peated. Haven't tasted a Ledaig before. This one was nice, but not superb. Maybe too peaty (only peat...)

Ledaig is the peated variant of Tobermory.

Under the current owners no 1970 cask has been bottled, I guess that as this was 21yo that it was done by the previous...

Re: FAVOURITE JOHNNIE WALKER LABEL

I've had Red - Black - Green and Blue. Blue was a good dram, but (too) expensive. I think I like Black the most... (price / quality wise).

Re: Laphroaig 12 year old Oloroso Sherry Cask Matured 53.1%

I can confirm that my bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask Double Matured 48%, bought in The Neterlands says: "Farven justeret med karamel" / "mit Farbstoff"...

Why do they do that?
